Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held each Tuesday evening running mid-September through May from 6:45 to 9:00pm, at the Clatsop Community College Performing Arts Center (PAC), on the corner of Franklin & 16th in Astoria. Additional rehearsal time may be called as needed. Attendance is taken regularly.
Choral Outfit for performances
• Women—black dress with jacket ordered through member Toni Mitchum, Victorian Lace, 1130 Commercial St, Astoria, (503) 325-1030 for about $80.00. Additionally female singers will need, black shoes, black stockings and white pearls.
• Men—black shirt, pants (not denim), black shoes and socks and a red tie. Loaners are available if the performance attire is a hardship.
Music Folder
Black choral music folder may be ordered on-line, or by calling My Music Folders at 888-266-0731, for about $24.00.
Other Opportunities for singers to get involved!
Singers may want to support the Chorale by selling concert tickets and helping with other forms of fundraising. Participate in ensembles. Join the board of directors or volunteer in other ways.
New Singer Orientation
Orientation is held the first rehearsal of both the fall and spring seasons.
The orientation will include:
• General information
• Meet the board
• Meet the creative staff
• Meet the section leaders
• Complete paperwork
• Match pitch and part selection
• Music assignment
• Rehearsal routine and schedule
• Concert schedule
• Concert outfit
• Dues ($80.00 Fall & $100.00 Spring)
• Fundraising
• Volunteer opportunities
• With time for questions and answers

Here are just a few ways to get involved:
• Consider a tax deductible donation. The Chorale is a 501c3 non-profit organization and is also part of the Oregon Cultural Trust. We have levels of contribution noted in the next column.
• Participate as an advertising sponsor in our concert program.
• Elect to sponsor publicity material such as a banner or billboard which would carry your company name or logo.
• You may opt to be an authorized ticket outlet.
